Rep. Al Green reads the text of the censure that was served upon him by the Speaker of the House the day after his “breach of proper conduct” resulting in his removal from the House floor on the night of 3/5/25 at the Joint Session of Congress.
His behavior was in response to President Trump claiming to have a mandate. Rep. Green wished to remind him that he did not have a mandate to cut Medicare. He also speaks on the President’s INCIVILITY through name-calling and promises to stand against it. “We are going to resort to the same tactics that we used in the 60’s……I remember how we marched and how we protested”. Amen!
